The Berlin Bilingual School is a thriving independent German/English primary and secondary school with 370 students and 60 members of staff from a wide range of countries. Secondary School Teachers for the subjects: Geography, Drama, English, Ethics and German

For the coming school year 2018/2019 we are searching for secondary school teachers (subjects in need: geography, drama, English, ethics and German) | part-time possible.

YOUR TASKS

  • Collaboration in an English-German secondary school with approx. 100 pupils*.
  • class leadership on demand
  • Design and execution of the lessons in the above-mentioned subjects
  • Development of the lessons for the secondary school according to the concept and model of the Berlin Bilingual School.
  • Participation in the development of secondary school II

WHAT WE WISH FOR

  • Second state examination or equivalent certification
  • Fluent in German (C1)  for the subjects: Geography and Ethics
  • Fluent in English (C1) mother tongue for the subjects: English and drama
  • Knowledge of inclusive and innovative teaching concepts
  • Experience in international educational contexts is an advantage

Without this qualification we are unable to offer any position, regardless of the applicants' experience. Qualifications such as TEFL or CELTA teacher are not adequate.
